BACKEND DEVELOPER

Lisbon

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using AWS Lambda serverless and microservices architectures.
• Write clean, modular, and easily maintainable code.
• Implement and maintain data security and compliance practices in all developed solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and suggest improvements.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in backend development using technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.
• Strong understanding of microservices design principles and service-oriented architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, and Typescript.
• Experience using version control tools such as Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Portuguese and English, Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
